Monies received from athletes and clubs pay for a variety of services, including administrative, educational, and promotional activities as well as insurance. Annual USA fees are approximately $47.00 but change from year to year as directed by USA Swimming. FRST swimming fees are based on the amount of pool time assigned to the team, as well as USA team registration, coaching fees, and administrative costs. Fees are set by the FRST Board of Directors for each session. Fees are not refunded, except in case of debilitating injury or illness. Fees paid to FRST are not tax deductible. Session fees are based on the group the swimmer belongs to. Fees are assessed differently for each of the four sessions and are subject to change on an annual basis. The swim sessions are divided into the following.
Approximate FRST fees are as follows:
Those who are financially in need and qualify for the free and reduced lunch programs through the schools are also eligible for reduced USA fees and 50% off FRST session fees. College students are also eligible for 25% off FRST session fees with college ID. USA/FRST Fee Processing All fees will be paid to FRST (cash and checks accepted) through our registration chairperson and committee. USA/FRST fees are due for returning swimmers the first week of each new session. If returning swimmers have not paid their fees in full by the end of the first week they will not be allowed to practice or to swim in meets. New swimmers to the FRST program can swim for the first week of the new session without paying for the USA/FRST fees. After the first week, if the swimmer decides to join the FRST program the fees must be paid in full by the beginning of the second week of the session or the swimmer will not be allowed to practice or swim in meets. |
